Phép toán phần 1

1. addition:Phép cộng
eg: 1+2=3
a.one and two is three.
b.one and two are three.
c.one and two makes three
d. one plus two equals three.(*)
2. subtraction: phép trừ
eg: 2-1=1
one from two is one.
two minus one equals one.(*)
3. multiplication: phép nhân
eg: 5x6=30
a. five sixes are thirty
chúng ta thêm đuôi es vào thừa số thứ 2
b. five times six is/equals thirty.
c. five multiplied six equals thirty(*)
4. division
20:4=5
a. four into twenty goes five.
b. twenty divided by four is/equals five(*)
5. số thập phân
eg: 360:50=7.2
Three hundred and sixty divided by fifty equals seven point two.

Phép toán phần 2

1. phép so sánh
x khác 2: (x is not equal to 2 hoặc xx does not equal 2)
x>=2: x is greater than or equal to 2.
x>2: x is greater than 2.
x=<2: x is less than or equal to 2.
x<2: x is less than 2
2. Căn, mũ
2^2 ( 2 bình phương) =4: 2 squared is 4.
căn bậc 4 =2 : the square root of 4 is 2.
2^3=8: 2 cubed is 8.
căn bậc 3 của 8 =2: the cube root of 8 is 2.
2 mũ x =a : 2 to the power of x is a
3. phân số
a. tử số là số đếm: one, two, three...
mẫu số:
TH1: nếu tử số có 1 chữ số và mẫu có 2 chữ số trở xuống thì mẫu số ta dùng số thứ tự. nếu tử số lớn hơn 1 thì mẫu số ta thêm s.
eg: 2/6: two sixths
1/6: one sixth
3/15: three fifteens
TH2: nếu tử số có 2 chữ số trở lên và mẫu số có 3 chữ số trở lên thì mẫu số sẽ đc viết từng chữ một và dùng số đếm, giữa tử và mẫu có OVER
EG: 3/462: three OVER four six two.
22/10: twenty-two OVER ten
29/120: twenty-nine OVER one two zero
